announced nominees for the
2012 Hip Hop Awards
today we won't pretend we're surprised
Kanye West
leads the pack!
With 17 nominations, Ye' CRUSHED several other big names including
Mercy
collaborator
2 Chainz
(nominated for 13),
Drake
(11), and
Tupac
(none) — the rapper died 16 years ago today, rest his gangsta soul.
Kim Kardashian
might not be directly responsible for Kanye's success but you better bet your Lamborghini Murciélago she inspired more than a few of his tracks!
Kanye's partner in crime
Jay-Z
also frequents the list and something tells us they'll take home more than one or two trophies.
